Yeah, I still can't fathom out how to get the autofire function working in either uae4arm or Amiberry. Same problem in both RetroPie and Amibian. I'm not sure if it's a bug or something you need to press first; or maybe another option or assignment that needs to be set-up somewhere? Can anyone help with this?

Ok, I found a solution for my arcade controller: Uae4arm read the button "0" (read by emulationstation) as fire. So I fisically changed the wires in my encoder usb and I put the button that I wanted in the position recognized as "0".

This sucks i named my games like this disk 1 of 3 disk 2 of 3 etc.. like this site says but it still asks for disk 2 and it wont load it in using Uae4arm can anyone tell me how to load 2nd disks

These are unnecessary as they are handled automagically when the emulator is installed from the setup script

And installing from source is generally not recommended if binaries are available

You don't have to unzip ADFs. UAE4Arm can load ZIP, ADF, DMS, EXE, ADZ and RP9 formats in the floppy drives.

@PiE81 Joymap is a strange one. I found that version 0.4 didn't work with my PS3 controller so I ended up sticking with version 0.3 whereas other users reported the reverse. You could experiment with different versions and see if there are any that work for you.

A lot of arcade joysticks are read as keyboard input. Unfortunately, I believe UAE4ARM requires that a joystick be read as a controller axis.

OK this is solved by this way and by adding kickroms files in the /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS :)

I do confirm issue with the deletion of the kick roms is now gone (either via binary or source options). Yet I still having issue with the controls. I'll keep checking in the coming days to see if upstream got fixes. Though the binary option from RP doesn't help and I'm really puzzled by that.

After many attempts at changing permissions of folders / files I simply reinstalled the emulator and all was fine. Not sure why the issue occurred but all fine now.
